The day’s agenda includes the event’s hallmark Women in Leadership panel at noon, with a discussion about ‘womentorship’ in print, and presentation of the 8th Girlie Award. The 8th award recipient will be in esteemed company, joining previous winners Pat McGrew, Cary Sherburne, Deborah Corn, Trish Witkowski, Jules Van Sant, Sabine Geldermann and Dawn Nye. International Print Day 2021: Details

The print industry is preparing to trend the planet again through 24 hours of social media sharing on International Print Day 2021. *The celebration gets underway in the U.S. at 6 pm eastern on October 19 (11 am local time in New Zealand and 9 am local time in Australia on Oct 20) and finishes 24 hours later in the United States at 6 pm eastern on October 20.

Last year’s event generated more than 12 million impressions, with more than 100 million impressions recorded to date.

The Hashtags: #IPD21 and #PrintAgain

In addition to using #IPD21, print fans can support this year’s “Print Again” theme by using the hashtag #PrintAgain.

#PrintAgain celebrates the revival of print in the marketing mix and emphasizes the positive results of using print, causing customers to use print again (and again, and again) to achieve communications objectives.

International Print Day is scheduled on Wednesdays to coincide with #PrintChat, Print Media Centr’s lively and informative Twitter discussion taking place every Wednesday at 4 pm, eastern time. Those interested in sharing ideas and expanding their networks on a regular basis should take #PrintChat for a spin during its special International Print Day edition on October 20.

While we still face challenges in meeting in person, events like these remind us that we are all part of the bigger picture, and that there is much to be proud of.”
