Decision and Order on Motion - Marco Corvi & Benpac Holding AG

By Editor Morten B. Reitoft

Many people didn't know about Marco Corvi and Benpac before Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, back in 2020, announced the sales of Gallus and Heidelberg Narrow-web. Today, even more people would like NOT to know about Corvi and the companies he continues to claim to be an international group of companies with 3,650 employees.

Corvi has acquired several companies in Switzerland, Italy, and North America - but all of them seem to fail or not even be true. Some companies are presented on Benpac's website. Still, there is no evidence (company registries or public information) that i.e., OMV in Italy is being owned or even controlled by Corvi! Almost like when Benpac for a long time claimed all Gallus addresses to be part of the Benpac "empire."

For companies like A-T-M in Florida, only part of the agreed sum has been paid according to legal documents filed by the previous owner to the court. The dispute is once again a matter for the court system. A couple of weeks ago, Luzerner Zeitung reported that Corvi and Benpac were forced out of their Stans-based headquarter for unpaid rent, and the pattern is the same - everywhere.

Employees not being paid - with court cases in Switzerland, where Corvi hasn't shown up. Un-fulfilled pension obligations claimed by former employees. Unpaid leasing obligations, and October 5th, the New York supreme court could add to the list of debts - namely almost $130,000 in unpaid legal fees.

Why Corvi continues to pursue an empire within the plastic/molding industry is unclear - and the creative suggestions from people being victims by the doings have tons of 'creative' suggestions.

What surprises me most in the story about Benpac is how the 'adventure' can continue. It doesn't take many searches on the internet to give hints about Corvi and Benpacs businesses and maybe, just maybe, raise some alerts for people approached by him?

One thing is, of course, the small companies with fewer resources, but how can a company like Heidelberger Druckmaschinen at all get involved with a person and company like Marco Corvi and Benpac?

Again we and others have numerous ideas about why, but again, we can't write. Whistleblowers are fortunately giving us more insight into involved companies, and we hope that one day the story can be fully uncovered, but who knows?

We have asked Marco Corvi for comments on this story - he didn't reply!
