Approvals

How do we approve articles?

All articles are reviewed before publishing. This is to ensure that we are not publishing articles with content that are not aligned with our statues. NEWS is a platform for the printing industry, and therefore we won't accept articles that we don't believe has relevance to our audience.

Right now, we are checking all articles manually. Shortly we will have some automated features that will help us checking articles.

Users are "rated" based on history. The more articles that have been manually approved, the higher their rating is - from an editorial perspective. At some point, you will get a score that will let you publish articles directly. These articles will still be checked, but they will have a lower priority.

We are also building a list of positive/negative words that we will filter for. These words are obvious and we will when we publish this publish the list of words, so all registered users for themselves can see what we won't accept.
