These four aliens have founded a federation of aliens on earth. Two of them are also members of an actors organisation, and the two to the right are not organised in any way - except our new federation. They have decided to found this federation since it will be easier for them to negotiate terms with the humans, and they believe that it will give them a better and stronger voice when meeting humans. Of course, this isn't true, but it identified quite good why we have federations and organisations. We belong to a tribe, we act like a tribe, and we stand stronger together.

However, a lot of things can ruin the need for a federation. Just because these four individuals are aliens doesn't mean that they share views on a lot of other things. Each of them can have different views on how to engage with humans, and even two of them are members of another organisation that may have other agendas. Something else can also happen. The people working within the federation can potentially end up working more to secure their own position than their members? Or, even worse. The purpose of the federation vanish, and nobody cares about why it's there and for who?

This happens in real-life. This happens maybe even to organisations that you are a member of, and sometimes you may consider whether its important to be part of the federation that you are a member of. What if your local print-federation doesn't do anything? What happens if your local federation becomes obsolete? What happens if boards and management don't listen, and understand what the needs for its members are?

Well - organizations may have longer lives than a business' because it takes quite some effort to turn the back to your tribe. If it was a private entity, some of the many federations out there wouldn't survive. Rest assured, however. When federations with bureaucracy die, something else will take over. Sometimes not even in the form we used to be part of. New federations in the very sense exist only virtually, and your tribe memberships are extended to more than ever before.

What defines our tribes is also extremely diverse. We are defined by our work. We are also defined by our country, state, city. We are defined by status, wealth, and hundreds of other things that eventually will make us who we are. Essentially we are social, and we like meeting other members of our tribes, and that gives us strength.

However. As with so many other things. Some of the old federations have lost it - name them for yourself - and then ask why we have them?

I believe federations, associations, organisations, tribes, are extremely important - and everybody is a member of some kind. However, I believe that federations that don't offer value to its members don't have any legitimate reason to survive. If management and board, and members aren't able to form services that can ensure group identity, strength, passion, social acceptance, and many other things. That goes for humans as well as aliens.

INKISH offer services to organisations and federations - and to the right, you can download our offer.

By the way - one of the federations that we believe is extremely active, and can redefine themselves all the time is the federation of printers in Denmark - GRAKOM, managed by CEO Thomas Torp. He and his organization have decided to work with us - and we will cover at least two events in Denmark in 2020 as part of our partnership. See below what Thomas Torp say about INKISH.

The Federation of Printers, Grakom, have supported and worked with INKISH since the beginning. INKISH grew from a need for information relating to the business side of the industry, and this is also what Grakom works with daily. INKISH has covered various events in Denmark, and have interviewed both people from Grakom and me. We are happy to support and endorse the work of INKISH.
