Fujifilm Joins Women in Print Alliance

Hanover Park, Illinois, USA – FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Communication Division, has announced that it has joined the Women in Print Alliance, a key advocate for women in the printing industry and part of the PRINTING United Alliance. The Women in Print Alliance membership program is designed to provide greater accessibility to opportunities in the print industry for women at all stages of their careers.

“As a print industry leader, we’re excited to join this important organization not only as a show of support for the women on our team, but for all women in this critical industry,” said Hidetoshi “Toshi” Kino, general manager, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Communication Division.

“Joining the Women in Print Alliance demonstrates Fujifilm’s commitment to the women who work in our Graphic Communication Division, and also to those women who may not have considered a career in print before,” said Ramona Serafino, product marketing manager, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Communication Division. “There are a myriad of opportunities for women to excel in the graphic arts. We’re excited to get involved and participate with our fellow members to drive home the impact women make in our industry.”

To kick off Fujifilm’s membership in the Women in Print Alliance, Serafino and her Fujifilm colleague Yasmina Ben-Bouchta, national channel manager, attended networking and speaking events hosted by Women in Print at this year’s PRINTING United event in Las Vegas, a renowned annual global trade show focusing on all things print.

Membership in the Women in Print Alliance offers numerous advantages. Key benefits include, but are not limited to, exclusive invitations to virtual and in-person events hosted by the Women in Print Alliance; special event invitations and access to gatherings in conjunction with PRINTING United Expo; exclusive and elevated members-only content; educational opportunities including webinars, live and on demand professional development workshops, participation in book chats featuring best-selling, non-fiction literature relevant to women in the workplace; access to an exclusive professional network through a comprehensive member directory, and much more.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Fujifilm as a corporate member of our growing community,” said Lisbeth Lyons Black, director of Women in Print Alliance. “Inclusion and diversity are more than just buzz words. By investing in the professional and personal development of its female employees, Fujifilm is demonstrating actionable commitment to attracting, advancing and advocating for women in the print workplace – and is helping foster an industry culture in which women can thrive and shine.”
