Guangzhou, China - After welcoming nearly 11,000 visitors from 65 countries and regions, the recent edition of Asia’s influential digital and screen printing platform concluded on 13 November at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Zone B) in Guangzhou. During the three-day fair, more than 300 exhibitors forged connections from buyers. Amid fluid market conditions, the fair equipped its participants to adapt, with a series of informative seminars focused on innovation and industry trends, helping fairgoers modernise supply chains.
This year, DS Printech China continued to bridge business and information gaps with diverse offerings. The digital and screen printing markets in China are evolving as technology and society develop. To better adapt to future landscapes, key industry players attended the fair’s diverse seminars, seeking new insights on changing opportunities and potential challenges.
Alongside informative fringe events, the fair’s product showcase spanned a raft of categories, such as machinery and accessories, consumables, inks and additives, as well as industrial and personalised solutions, benefitting the entire value chain. Domestic and international visitors showed interest in the quality and eco-friendly products presented by various exhibitors, including Bostik, J.EE., Dongguan Changlian New Material Technology, Shanghai Mimaki Trading, Shenzhen Boyan Commercial Machinery, Kinzel Printing Systems, and many more.
Exhibitors’ comments
“Bostik, a global leader in adhesives, excels in product functionality and quality, with added values such as sustainable solutions. By connecting upstream and downstream companies, DS Printech China provides insights into market dynamics and future trends, allowing us to refine strategies and product development. This year, we have engaged with new and existing customers. Many equipment manufacturers are showcasing innovative solutions, and the fringe events promote innovation, trends, brand exposure, and information exchange.” - Mr. Eddie Wan, APAC Business Director – Assembly, Bostik (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd., China
“We chose DS Printech China for its strong reputation and professionalism. This year, two of our high-end and widely applicable printing lines are particularly in-demand. Sustainability is a key industry trend that we work towards through R&D efforts for our equipment. The fair fosters innovation through seminars, motivating industry players by demonstrating that innovation is not only worthwhile but also achievable.” - Ms. Hongjuan Hui, Area Director of Sales & Marketing Asia, KINZEL Printing Systems GmbH, Germany
“DS Printech China has customers transitioning from traditional to digital solutions, and we are well-equipped to support them. Regarding innovation, 3D printed painting is in focus currently. Mimaki's technology enhances efficiency by requiring fewer layers – only two – while the software autogenerates the 3D effect.” - Ms. Wang Yanwen, Marketing Department, Shanghai Mimaki Trading Co., Ltd., China
Visitors’ experiences
“We are exploring solutions for digital and screen printing, as well as materials for blankets and T-shirts. My primary reason to visit DS Printech China is to find new products and technologies that we can bring back to Europe, particularly Romania and Hungary. We are pleased with the quality and variety available at this edition.” -Mr, Balázs Ördög, Managing Director, PartyBox RO SRL, Romania
“This is my first time attending DS Printech China. Our company, a printing factory undergoing transformation, came to this fair because of its reputation, and we are also seeking consumables. The variety of products here is satisfactory and we have met potential suppliers.” - Ms. Wang Menghan, Business Manager, Nanjing Jiawan Technology Co Ltd, China
Speaker’s feedback
“While the sales process is already very efficient, the main bottleneck lies in the supply chain. Today, I discussed ways to enhance efficiency across the apparel supply chain. Participating in the seminar boosts our visibility, while also providing opportunities for discussions on topics that can’t be showcased onsite. Themed interactions allow participants to ask questions and exchange contacts.” - Mr. John Zhong, Strategic Accounts Director, Greater China, Kornit Digital (China) Sustainability Center, China
Innovation is poised to be a key driver of future growth in digital and screen printing, with new opportunities extending beyond textiles to include a broader range of applications in China. In this evolving market landscape, and due to the fair organisers’ different priorities going forward, Messe Frankfurt, CSGIA and Guangzhou Teyin Exhibition Service have agreed to discontinue their cooperation on DS Printech China. Should there be any updates on future plans, they will be announced in due course.
