American Packaging Corporation · New Digital Cell

One hundred three years ago, in 1902, the Kardon Family from Philadelphia opened its doors as American Bag & Paper. The American Bag & Paper was a small company for many years, but in 1966, Stanley Schottland joined the company, and growth took off. In 1986, Schottland took over the company, which remains privately held by the Schottland family. With a strong focus on customer support and quality, the company grew organically and through acquisitions. The story is interesting, as the company has always been a market leader, so with its latest equipment acquisition - two HP Indigo 200K - American Packaging Corporation now takes a step into a new business segment, but with the same confidence that they can grow.

Customers require high-quality, accurate color, which HP underscores in its press release as a reason for choosing the Indigo machine. The new digital cell will allow American Packaging Company to deliver more sustainable solutions, variable data, and shorter runs with the same color accuracy as its other press technologies. Today, American Packaging Corporation delivers in rotogravure, flexo, and digital.
