For two decades, HP and DSCOOP have been growing together. What began as an HP Indigo group has grown to embrace HP Pagewide Industrial Inkjet technology, and the workflow solutions that support all print platforms. The relationship is built on the premise that DSCOOP - the Digital SOLUTIONS Cooperative - should be a platform for education, networking, and problem solving. The agenda built for Long Beach was a mix of deep dives on HP technology, session for those new to digital print, and problem solving sessions based on user case studies.
As many analysts point out, HP Indigo has a very large user base and occupies almost 60% market share for digital presses. HP Pagewide is the most productive group of inkjet presses with almost 40% of the inkjet market and a growing base in corrugated packaging and folding carton in both preprint and postprint market segments. To gain the most value, the workflow must be solid and efficient. HP continues to push the possibilities with their Smart Workcell Controller for their Pagwewide devices, and the introduction of HP Nio, a digital agent designed to provide real-time insights and productivity improvements based on customer data.
DSCOOP also focuses on the needs of brands, and in the HP Brand Center working with HP Site Flow, brands and PSPs find an efficient path to onboarding new work and executing true end-to-end workflow automation. The big takeaways from Long Beach start with the emphasis on how HP have integrated AI into their solutions, speed and efficiency enhancements from both HP Indigo and HP Pagewide, and continuing advancements in collaboration with their partners.
