THE AFTERMATH
I just came home from PRINTING United just a day ago and what a show. Of course, the 650+ exhibitors presented products, services, news, opportunities, network, etc., beyond expectations, but I can't help thinking of is how much information is produced after such an event. INKISH made more than 30 interviews during the days, most of them LIVE from Canon Solutions America on 23rd, Chili-Publish on the 24th, and finally from more than 10 exhibitors on the 25th, counting exhibitors like PrintBox, Xerox, Agfa, RISO, Konica Minolta, Keypoint Intelligence, and many more. But we were, of course, not alone.
At the show-floor, video teams were all over. Some from NAPCO/SGIA, some from exhibitors themselves, some from Print7tv from the UK, WhatTheyThink, and probably many more. Trade media from Italy, Germany, UK, and many other countries were also active in PRINTING United offering a wast selection of news from the show.
The enormous amount of articles, films, podcasts, etc., produced under the show will give PRINTING United an 'after-life' and will help to build the brand, and the understanding of its importance - not only during the show but also in the time after.
Below is a list of some of the content delivered by our friends from other media:
Clicking on the image to the left will take you not only to Denise Gustavson's interview with President Mark Subers from PRINTING United and Ford Bowers, President & CEO of SGIA but also to a list of all the films made from PRINTING United by PI-World.
WhatTheyThink obviously was busy during the show. Clicking on the photo with Scott Eganhouse from TEC Mailing Solutions and Kelly Holmes from WhatTheyThink will take you to a list of the most recent videos, where you will find a great number of great interviews done during PRINTING United.
Our own coverage of PRINTING United was pretty intense - at least from our perspective. With our LIVE capabilities, we wanted our audience to get instant access to the print show, not so much because we believe many people are watching a full broadcast LIVE. Still, we think there are many advantages - for us less editing time and time to get the films out, for the audience to be able to see the actual show, and the long after-life of films delivered by very engaged people at the floor.
