The PrintGreen initiative is a strategic effort to reinforce print’s sustainability credentials by providing brands, agencies, and media planners with a free industry carbon calculator to assess the environmental impact of printed formats. Backed by Two Sides, BPIF, DMA, IPIA, MarketReach, and the Strategic Mailing Partnership, this initiative addresses misinformation and greenwashing, which could lead to a £22.4m loss in value for the UK’s print, paper, and mailing industry. By offering fact-based insights and actionable sustainability data, PrintGreen empowers businesses to make informed decisions, ensuring print remains a vital and environmentally responsible part of multi-channel marketing strategies.
