Two of Sweden's most significant and innovative printing companies join forces in a business that expects joined revenue of 1 billion Swedish Kroner (90 million EUR). The owners, however, say to Swedish Sign & Print that it’s about size and strength for the future. Åtta45 - meaning Eight45 has 330 employees and has its HQ in Stockholm but produces print in 15 locations across Sweden. Exakta is based in the southern part of Sweden in Malmö, Sweden's third largest city, and employs 170 employees. Exakta has recently been in the media, as it is the first company that go all-in on the GelatoConnect platform. These are interesting times, and probably not the first consolidation to be expected globally here at the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025.
The two companies are now awaiting approval from authorities before they can continue integrating the two companies.
