Ultimate Tech launched Ultimate Impostrip 2025.2, the latest version of its imposition and automation platform used by print service providers worldwide. The release introduces several new capabilities designed to accelerate production and simplify workflow integration. Central to the update is the next-generation XML+ automation engine, which now allows imposition without preconfigured hot folders or templates. Standard XML redirection has also been expanded to offer more flexible automation pathways based on customer feedback.

The version also enhances CSV batching, removing record limits and enabling the creation of multi-thousand-page PDFs from a single master template. The company said these improvements support high-volume environments where throughput and data handling are critical. Another highlight is SmartRoll, a post-imposition batching option designed for continuous-feed presses. SmartRoll enables providers to optimise roll-based production by reducing material waste and improving overall device efficiency.

Additional updates include strengthened Cutting Table capabilities and performance improvements across the platform.
