Flint Group Rebrands as Flint Group Packaging Solutions to Signal Strategic Shift

Flint Group announced a corporate rebrand to Flint Group Packaging Solutions, marking a significant step in its strategic evolution toward the packaging sector. The company said the new identity reflects its commitment to serving a market that is expanding across substrates, formats, and sustainability requirements. As packaging evolves, Flint Group is positioning itself as a platform supplier delivering integrated solutions for printers and brand owners.

The rebranded organization operates across five core business segments: Flexible Packaging, Paper and Board, Narrow Web, Sheetfed Offset, and Flint Group Digital Xeikon. Together, these units provide inks, coatings, digital print consumables, and digital engines designed to meet increasing demand for regulatory-compliant and sustainable packaging production. The company will continue to support adjacent businesses, including DAY Transfer Media, Varn Chemicals, and Web Offset inks, maintaining continuity for customers in those segments.

Leadership framed the rebrand as both a reflection of past transformation and a signal of future direction. “We are seeing a market evolution across substrates, packaging formats, and coatings to enhance recyclability while replacing complex structures,” said Pepyn Dinandt, CEO of Flint Group Packaging Solutions. The updated brand identity, including a new logo, reflects agility and focus as the company pursues growth through innovation and potential acquisitions. For the industry, the move underscores how major suppliers are aligning more closely with packaging as a primary engine of growth.
