Launched from a vulnerable, unscripted moment on stage at Dscoop EDGE Indy 2024, Shet for Brains* has grown into a grassroots movement within the print industry, aiming to normalize conversations around mental health, leadership stress, and emotional well-being. Co-founded by David Rosendahl (MindFire), Chris Minn (Digital Ink), Jessica DeCola (GPA), and Jon Bailey (Precision Proco), the initiative has since hosted impactful virtual and in-person events centered on connection and support.
At Dscoop EDGE Denver (March 8–10), the group will deliver three key sessions: a keynote on leadership burnout with Glenn Packiam, an interactive session on emotional intelligence, and a raw panel discussion addressing the unspoken costs of “being fine.” The initiative’s booth (#501) will serve as a safe space for ongoing dialogue. “It’s not about having the answers,” said co-founder Jessica DeCola. “It’s about making sure no one feels like they have to figure it out alone.”
As the print industry continues to evolve technologically, She*t for Brains offers a reminder that emotional resilience is a pillar of long-term sustainability.
