Print Library in Ireland expanded its production capabilities with a £1.5 million investment in new machinery at its County Down facility, headlined by the installation of a Heidelberg Speedmaster CX104 press. The new system is expected to double output while improving operational efficiency, positioning the company to meet increasing demand from fast-moving consumer goods customers.
According to co-founder Michael Thompson, the addition of the new press represents a major milestone in the company’s development, enabling greater scale, faster turnaround, and more streamlined production workflows. The investment builds on previous upgrades, including CAD prototyping technology and advanced inspection systems introduced in 2025, as the company continues to modernize its packaging production environment.
To mark the investment, Print Library launched a creative marketing campaign in collaboration with Squint Creative, using a digital “Fake Out Of Home” video to showcase the new press. The initiative shows the company’s commitment to operational growth and brand visibility, strengthening its position as a forward-looking player in the packaging and print sector.
