Enfocus PitStop 2507 Delivers Major Productivity Gains with Smart Enhancements for PDF Prepress

Enfocus has unveiled PitStop 2507, the latest upgrade to its industry-standard PDF preflight and editing software, packed with powerful new features aimed at boosting productivity, reducing manual intervention, and refining quality control. This new release addresses key customer feedback by delivering greater precision, improved automation, and broader compatibility—all while maintaining the tool’s signature ease of use.

PitStop 2507 introduces automatic alignment of vector objects, a long-requested feature that speeds up layout corrections by enabling smart, rule-based object placement. The new version also adds the ability to detect and manage hidden or obscured objects, reducing print errors and saving time during proofing. Users will benefit from performance improvements in the Navigator and Inspector tools, making it easier to identify and fix problems without leaving the main view.

Enfocus has also enhanced compatibility with complex PDFs by expanding transparency flattening controls and improving support for ICC color profiles. These updates ensure more predictable color rendering and smoother handoff across diverse print workflows. Designed for both standalone and integrated environments, PitStop 2507 continues to work seamlessly with PitStop Server, giving print service providers a robust platform for automated quality control and efficient file preparation.
