Paperboard Packaging Council elected Hilda S. Murray, Executive Vice President and Owner of TPC Printing & Packaging, as the new Chair of its Board of Directors. Murray’s appointment signals continuity and stability for PPC as it advances its mission to promote collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth among paperboard packaging converters across North America.
A long-time advocate for independent converters, Murray brings decades of leadership experience to the role. Under her guidance, TPC Printing & Packaging, a 100-year-old, family-owned folding carton converter based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has evolved through multiple industry shifts, embracing digital workflows, high-end luxury packaging, and, more recently, rigid box manufacturing. Her leadership is widely recognized for blending craftsmanship with technology adoption and a strong commitment to sustainability.
PPC leadership emphasized that Murray’s perspective aligns closely with the challenges converters face today, from market transformation to workforce development. In her new role, Murray has highlighted collaboration and shared progress as priorities, noting that the paperboard packaging sector's strength lies in its collective creativity and resilience.
