Watford FC is redefining the traditional matchday programme with the launch of a personalised post-match print souvenir, developed in partnership with Early Doors Sports. Following strong uptake of its free pre-match Digital Digest, which replaced the printed programme earlier this season, the club has introduced a print-on-demand publication that is created only after the final whistle and produced exclusively for individual supporters.
Each bespoke souvenir includes the official match report, action photography, statistics, and highlights, along with the option for fans to upload up to six of their own photos from the day. Whether commemorating a mascot appearance, a family outing, or a memorable result at Vicarage Road, the personalised format transforms the traditional programme into a customised keepsake designed for the modern fan.
Produced only when ordered, the initiative eliminates unsold inventory and waste, aligning physical print with digital engagement. By combining post-match content, personalisation, and on-demand production, Watford has created a new hybrid model for matchday memorabilia that reflects how print can evolve in the digital era while preserving the emotional value of a tangible souvenir.
