The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) has announced the winners of the 2025 Gold Leaf Awards, recognizing the best in print enhancement, decoration, and finishing from around the world. Among this year’s standout winners, ASL Print FX claimed the Best of Show award for its “Phantom Spirits Mezcal” label, a striking example of design brought to life through foil stamping, embossing, and specialty effects. Also taking top honors, Diamond Packaging received Best Use of Embossing with its intricate “Lindt Gold Bunny” folding carton, and SunDance took home the award for Best Use of Foil and Embossing in a Promotional Campaign for its impactful work with Visit Orlando.

Now in its 32nd edition, the Gold Leaf Awards continue to highlight the impact of finishing techniques such as foil, embossing, specialty coatings, and laser cutting across packaging, labels, direct mail, and more. Judges evaluated entries from companies spanning North America, Europe, and Asia, emphasizing innovation, craftsmanship, and the power of finishing to elevate printed communications. This year’s entries reflected both creative ambition and technical precision, showcasing how embellishments are redefining brand storytelling and shelf appeal.

The winners were celebrated during a special ceremony at the Amplify Print Finishing and Embellishment Event, where more than 30 categories recognized achievement in everything from folding cartons to holographic effects.
