Adobe Patches Over 60 Vulnerabilities

Adobe has rolled out 13 new security advisories addressing critical and important vulnerabilities across its creative and commerce product lines, including multiple flaws in Substance 3D apps (Viewer, Modeler, Painter, Sampler, and Stager). These updates fix critical code execution issues and important memory leaks, while Commerce and Magento Open Source received patches for four critical bugs—impacting privilege escalation, denial of service, and arbitrary file reads—plus two security bypass flaws. Other fixes include critical vulnerabilities in Animate, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dimension, FrameMaker, InCopy, and InDesign, with the latter two alone accounting for nearly 20 code execution issues.

While Adobe notes no evidence of active exploitation, the company urges prompt updates despite most patches carrying a priority rating of 2 or 3. The announcement coincides with Microsoft’s August 2025 Patch Tuesday, which resolves over 100 vulnerabilities, including several remote code execution threats.
