AI Packaging Start-Up dappas Secures Tech Investor Support and Prepares for Market Launch

Tech investors Yishay Waxman and Ran Levy have publicly announced their backing of dappas, an AI-powered start-up set to redefine the custom packaging market led by co-founder and CEO Keren Yakolev Zur. Designed to make packaging creation simple, fast, and accessible, the dappas platform enables anyone to design and order premium branded packaging in just a few clicks, no prior experience required.

Targeting a market historically designed for large brands, dappas is positioning itself as a modern alternative for businesses of all sizes. “The packaging industry was built for big brands, yet even they struggle to keep up with the pace and evolving demand of today’s world,” the company stated. Through its AI-based design tool, users can instantly create cohesive brand packaging that automatically adapts across multiple product types, from coffee cups, pouches, and cartons to delivery boxes, labels, and bags.

All jobs are digitally printed with sustainable materials and produced in the U.S., ensuring short turnaround times and minimal waste. Order quantities are low, with no minimums required, enabling small businesses and creators to access high-quality packaging that was previously limited to enterprise-scale operations. Currently, users cannot upload existing artwork but must design within the dappas interface, which ensures compatibility and brand consistency.

Co-founder Yakolev Zur told PrintWeek that the platform’s minimum viable product (MVP) is already live by invitation, with full public launch planned within the next 10 weeks. Backed by Waxman and Levy’s tech investment expertise, dappas is positioning itself as the next evolution in on-demand, AI-powered packaging—combining automation, digital printing, and sustainability to make “Your packaging, done right.”
