Aldus to Acquire Currie Group, Strengthening Australasian Print Services Footprint

Australian print trade media are reporting that Aldus has entered into an agreement to acquire Currie Group, a move that further expands Aldus Group’s presence across the print and graphic communications industry in Australia and New Zealand. According to Sprinter, the news was confirmed in an internal email from Aldus CEO Frank Floriano, distributed by the Aldus Group.

In his message, Floriano said the acquisition reflects Aldus Group’s ongoing strategy of supporting market-leading specialist businesses with strong leadership and deep industry roots. Currie Group brings more than 75 years of experience supporting the print and graphic communications sector across Australia and New Zealand, with a reputation for technical capability, customer service, and long-term customer relationships. Floriano noted that these attributes closely align with the values and history of Aldus Group itself.

Under the terms of the agreement, Currie Group will continue to operate as an independent business within the Aldus Group, with its existing leadership team remaining in place and its customer, partner, and people focus unchanged. Completion is expected in January 2026, and Aldus Group has indicated that it will provide stability and backing to support Currie Group’s continued growth while creating opportunities for collaboration across the wider group.
