Asahi Kasei, parent company of Asahi Photoproducts, announced it will present two key technology developments at Forum Infoflex 2026 in Milwaukee. The company will focus on its REVO SERIES platemaking ecosystem and the US debut of the AWP-CLFQ flexographic plate, highlighting a dual approach to improve both workflow efficiency and print quality. The showcase reflects ongoing industry demand for more reliable and scalable flexographic production processes.
The REVO SERIES represents Asahi’s continued development of an ecosystem-based approach to platemaking, designed to streamline production and improve consistency. By enabling faster plate processing and reducing variability, the system supports converters seeking stable, repeatable workflows across a range of applications. This aligns with broader market pressures to increase efficiency while maintaining consistent output quality in flexographic printing environments.
The AWP-CLFQ plate introduces a new level of precision for high-definition imaging and print performance. As the first solventless plate certified for Esko Quartz imaging, it delivers stable dot formation, consistent ink transfer, and smooth tonal transitions, making it well-suited for demanding label and flexible packaging applications. “The pressure on converters today is twofold: they need greater efficiency in platemaking, but they also require more predictable print performance on press,” said Kaoru Nozaki, General Manager EU and America Sales Department at Asahi Photoproducts.
