AVT has confirmed plans to present its newest inspection and color measurement technologies at Labelexpo Asia 2025, marking its debut at the event as an independent business. Working in collaboration with narrow web equipment manufacturer Brotech, AVT will install its Helios print inspection system on both a printing press and a rewinder, giving visitors direct insight into how its 100 percent inspection platform detects and prevents defects in real time. The exhibition will take place 2–5 December at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

“AVT Helios is a market-proven, automatic 100 percent inspection solution that ensures quality in labels and narrow web printing by identifying defects instantly, minimizing waste and enhancing overall performance,” said Guy Yogev, vice president of marketing and product at AVT. The demonstrations will include detection of small print defects, color shifts, mis-registration, barcodes and advanced varnish irregularities, showcasing complete in-line quality assurance capabilities. Yogev added that the setup at Brotech’s booth will illustrate how AVT systems can be integrated across presses, rewinders and finishing lines of varying widths and speeds.

AVT will also highlight SpectraLab XF, its flagship in-line spectral color measurement system designed to deliver precise color monitoring at full production speeds. The technology provides real-time color visibility and alerts during make-ready and running conditions, ensuring brand color consistency and supporting automated reporting and workflow connectivity. “Each of our innovative solutions complement each other to create a unified ecosystem of control, precision and performance,” Yogev said.
