At Labelexpo Europe 2025, BOBST is pushing the envelope of application innovation with the debut of the FLEXJET module—an industry-first, fully digital multilayer label solution. Seamlessly integrated into the DIGITAL MASTER 340 and 510 platforms, FLEXJET allows converters to print on the front, back, liner, or adhesive in a single pass, using high-resolution 1200 dpi inkjet powered by Fujifilm Dimatix Samba heads. This disruptive approach drastically reduces setup times, enables glue-side printing, and opens doors to high-margin, regulatory-driven applications.
Complementing the hardware innovation, BOBST is extending its Application Management services into the label segment, offering converters strategic guidance on everything from substrate selection to workflow optimization. A new partnership with Belgian consultancy Co-ëfficiënt further enhances BOBST’s service stack, aiming to boost OEE, color consistency, and sustainability across production environments.
