Canon announced the launch of the corrPRESS iB17, a groundbreaking digital press purpose-built for the corrugated packaging industry. Unveiled at FEFCO 2025, the new system represents Canon’s bold entry into a segment where converters are under pressure to meet shorter production runs, faster delivery times, and increased customization demands without compromising quality or cost efficiency. The corrPRESS iB17 is engineered to give packaging producers the digital freedom to print what they need, when they need it—combining speed, flexibility, and premium image quality in one powerful solution.

The press enables direct digital printing with water-based inks and primer onto corrugated board, achieving offset-like quality for production volumes up to 15 million square meters per year.
