Canon U.S.A. unveiled a new Americas production print strategy designed to accelerate the adoption of digital printing across commercial and industrial markets. The initiative introduces a new Canon Americas Production Print leadership team tasked with aligning strategy, investment, and customer support across the United States, Canada, and Latin America as the industry continues its shift toward digital production technologies.
The team will be led by Peter Kowalczuk, Executive Vice President and President of the Client Services Group at Canon U.S.A., alongside Rob Reddy, Senior Vice President of Production Print Solutions Sales; Dan Verley, Senior Vice President of Large Format Sales; and Katsuhiro “Jerry” Matsufuji, Vice President of Sales Planning, Strategy, and Business Development. Canon says the new structure will strengthen coordination across its portfolio while helping customers expand digital operations in areas such as commercial printing, direct mail, book production, signage, and label and packaging applications.
Canon continues to emphasize its latest generation of production inkjet technologies, including the varioPRESS iV7, varioPRINT iX1700, Colorado XL series, and LabelStream LS2000 digital label press. The company is also expanding service and training capabilities across the Americas, including a new Service Training Facility in Boca Raton, Florida, as part of a broader effort to help print providers modernize workflows, improve efficiency, and capture new application opportunities in a rapidly evolving production print market.
