The Best in Flexo Awards, hosted annually by the Italian Technical Association for Flexography (ATIF), honor outstanding achievements in flexographic printing. These accolades are not only a testament to Carminati’s superior prepress expertise but also to the exceptional print quality made possible by XSYS’ new nyloflex® eco plates. 

“We’re thrilled to have won so many awards with our new sustainable nyloflex® eco FAC plates which we believe is the future of flexo. As a beta site, we collaborated closely with XSYS during the development and testing of this new technology. The plates perform exceptionally well on press, delivering high quality print while also reducing our climate impact to meet our customers’ very complex demands,” said CEO Carlo Carminati. Carminati together with four of its customers were honored for outstanding corrugated print jobs produced with XSYS’ nyloflex® eco FAC plates. 

Awards

Gold in the ‘Innovative Use of the Flexographic Process’ category won with Toppazzini SpA for Bottega Gold Prosecco (box of six bottles). This entry also took home the coveted top trophy, securing the judges’ votes for Best in Show. They praised the precision, smooth gradients, realistic texture, and color effects achieved using the four process colors. 

All three prizes in the Corrugated Board Processed on a Case-maker category: Gold for Scatolificio Ceriana and Silver and Bronze for Scatolificio Ondulkart. Bronze for Antonio Sada & Figli SpA in the Uncoated Corrugated Post-Print category.
