CoCoCo Plants Flag in Europe’s AI Epicenter to Redefine Print Through Industry 5.0

CoCoCo officially relocated its global headquarters to Saarbrücken, Germany, establishing operations at Universität des Saarlandes within one of Europe’s most advanced artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0 research hubs. Surrounded by institutions such as DFKI, Fraunhofer, Max Planck and CISPA, the company is positioning itself at the intersection of academic research and industrial application, with the goal of accelerating innovation in print manufacturing.

The move is closely tied to CoCoCo’s ambition to bring machine learning into the core of print production. The company confirmed it is already conducting initial customer testing of a new ML-driven solution designed specifically for the print industry. The platform is expected to enable self-optimizing, data-driven workflows that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support more intelligent production environments, aligning with broader Industry 5.0 principles.

By embedding itself in the Triathlon innovation ecosystem, CoCoCo aims to combine “Made in Germany” engineering standards with scalable global infrastructure. Co-founder John Maxwell emphasized the strategic importance of the location, noting that access to world-class research and startup support will accelerate development timelines and help bring next-generation AI-powered print solutions to market.
