The 5th Asian Media Leaders Summit (AMLS), combined with WAN-IFRA’s flagship conference for the entire Asia Pacific region, including South Asia and the Middle East, will convene in Singapore on 5–6 November 2025. Bringing speakers from around the world, the event promises a high-impact learning and networking experience tailored to the realities of today’s news and media businesses.
Positioned as two summits in one, the program features 17 sessions and around 35 global speakers across a Leaders Summit and an Editors Summit. The Leaders Summit, targeting CEOs, publishers, media owners, revenue leaders, and rising executives, will spotlight ideas, business models, and solutions to build sustainable news organizations. The Editors Summit is designed for newsroom heads, future chiefs, and ambitious journalists, offering practical perspectives and debates to transform coverage and newsroom operations.
Against a backdrop of layoffs, closures, rising costs, shrinking ad revenue, declining social traffic, and reduced search referrals in the era of AI overviews, attendees will explore how to plan, manage, and thrive in uncertainty. Sessions will cover entrepreneurial growth, strategies to drive profit through trust, the impact of independent creators, business transformation playbooks, AI updates and forecasts, leadership fundamentals, innovation pipelines, and trends and predictions for 2026 and beyond.
