The Netherlands • VIGC and Sirris ask for five minutes of your time. The firms are conducting a study to identify the challenges and opportunities in the graphics sector, with a special focus on the possibilities of digitisation and Industry 4.0.
The printing industry is under pressure: customers demand high-quality, personalised products with fast delivery times and at lower costs. At the same time, companies are facing challenges such as high labour costs, a shortage of technical staff and the need to work more sustainably.
Digitalization may be able to provide solutions through connected machines, data analytics and AI. But there are still questions about how useful and applicable digitalisation is for specific processes within the sector, and what the investment costs and benefits are.
Participants in this survey can help us to gain insight into the concrete needs and wishes of the sector. The results will form the basis for a targeted research project, which can actually help companies in the sector.
