ECO3 Announces Double-Digit Global Price Increase on Offset Plates and Chemicals

ECO3 confirmed a global price increase for its offset printing plates and associated chemical products, effective March 1, 2026. The company cited continued sharp rises in aluminum prices, a critical raw material in plate manufacturing, along with escalating treatment and processing costs as the primary drivers behind the decision.

The adjustment is expected to be in the double digits, although the precise impact will vary depending on product category and regional market conditions. ECO3 stated that despite internal efficiency initiatives and cost-control measures, the sustained pressure on raw materials and production expenses has necessitated an increase to maintain supply continuity and service standards.

Frederik Dehing, ECO3’s Global Head of Sales, emphasized that the move is intended to ensure long-term sustainability across the company’s plate and chemistry portfolio. Customers are being contacted directly to discuss timing, product implications, and implementation details, as printers worldwide continue to navigate cost volatility in the prepress supply chain.
