ECO3 has announced a major sustainability milestone with the construction of a new Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) plant at its Wiesbaden, Germany facility. The €3 million investment will reduce CO₂ emissions by 25% and replace an outdated thermal afterburning system, supporting ECO3’s broader climate goals. The RTO process efficiently treats production exhaust by destroying VOCs at high temperatures and reusing the heat, cutting pollution and energy use. With commissioning planned for late 2025, the project highlights ECO3’s commitment to cleaner, more efficient operations in the global print industry.
