Enfocus Introduces AI Chatbot Botus in Major PitStop 25.11 Update

Enfocus released PitStop 25.11, the latest update to its industry-leading PDF proofing and correction software. The new version introduces Botus, an AI-driven chatbot that provides real-time assistance to users, marking one of the most significant updates in PitStop’s nearly three-decade history.

“Botus represents a huge leap forward for PitStop,” said Loïc Aigon, Product Manager at Enfocus. “We want to help our users extract maximum value from PitStop, enabling them to chat and request assistance to solve issues more efficiently. While Botus is still in beta, we’re looking forward to refining it with user feedback.”

PitStop 25.11 also brings compatibility with macOS 26 (Tahoe), a redesigned Layer panel for more efficient editing, and enhanced detection for thin objects. Additional new features include the ability to select unnecessary clipping objects, select colors by tints in the DeviceN color space, and constrain line drawing to 45° angles. The update introduces a new Default Preflight Profile, improves layer visibility management, and includes bug fixes and stability improvements.

“With this update, we continue our mission to deliver affordable and flexible automation that empowers creativity and boosts profitability,” Aigon added. “Botus is another step toward optimizing workflows for our users, and we see limitless potential for its future development.”

The PitStop 25.11 update will roll out to active subscribers starting November 4, 2025. Access to the Botus AI assistant requires an active PitStop subscription and participation in Enfocus’ data analytics program. The company encourages users to explore the full list of features and updates at enfocus.com.
