EPS Reaches Milestone with 100th Single-Pass Direct-to-Object Inkjet System Sold

EPS, a pioneer in industrial Direct-to-Object (DTO) printing and part of the Xaar Group, has announced the sale of its 100th single-pass DTO inkjet production system, a significant achievement that reflects the broader industry’s transition from analog to digital decoration methods. Originally founded in 1985 as a pad-printing engineering company, EPS has evolved into a key player in digital print automation, delivering over 2,000 pad printers, 300 multipass DTO inkjet systems, and now reaching 100 single-pass production-grade systems.

With a legacy of innovation, EPS has been instrumental in transforming how complex and irregularly shaped items such as golf balls, hard hats, and bottle caps are printed. Notable achievements include developing the first tagless T-shirt printing system in collaboration with Hanes. EPS’s deep experience and broad installed base affirm its role in driving digital adoption across industries seeking faster, more versatile, and more efficient decoration solutions.
