Engineered Printing Solutions (EPS) has renewed its exclusive distribution partnership with Italy-based Comec Italia, continuing to represent the company’s full range of industrial pad printing systems in the United States and Canada. The renewed agreement strengthens EPS’s role as a provider of both analogue pad printing and digital direct-to-object (DTO) inkjet technologies, allowing the company to evaluate customer applications and recommend the most suitable production method based on volume, substrates, and long-term operating costs. As part of the agreement, EPS will expand its representation of Comec’s specialized systems designed for sectors such as medical devices, automotive components, electronics, packaging, and consumer goods.
Comec Italia designs and manufactures its pad printing equipment at its headquarters in Cavaria, Italy, with systems used in more than 25 countries. EPS, which has installed more than 2,400 printing systems across North America, will continue to provide installation, operator training, consumables, and field service support for Comec machines throughout the region. The partnership reflects ongoing demand for reliable industrial pad printing alongside digital decoration technologies, enabling manufacturers to combine high-volume, multi-colour printing on complex surfaces with newer digital capabilities for variable data and shorter production runs.
