Epson has introduced the S3200-S1, a new PrecisionCore printhead engineered for industrial-scale inkjet printing with strong solvents. Designed for advanced manufacturing sectors, including perovskite solar cell production, the S3200-S1 offers a 4.73-inch print width, solvent compatibility (NMP, DMSO, DMF, DMI), and high-resolution output up to 600 dpi. This launch builds on the success of earlier models like the S800-S1 and aims to simplify production by reducing the number of heads required.
“We believe inkjet printing technology will play a central role in the commercialization of perovskite solar cells,” said Kim Kwangsoo, President of Gosan Tech.
