Mimaki Europe has supported Erreà in a major transformation of its digital textile printing infrastructure, installing three Tiger600-1800TS industrial dye-sublimation printers and four TS330-1600 systems. The new configuration replaces 28 previous digital printers, marking a decisive shift toward a leaner, more controlled production model. Designed to meet growing demand for mass customisation, shorter lead times and consistent colour accuracy, the upgrade allows Erreà to handle everything from high-volume club orders to highly personalised small-batch runs within a single, unified workflow.
Founder and CEO Angelo Gandolfi explained the reasoning behind the move: “After carefully analysing the solutions available on the market, we identified Mimaki as the partner best able to meet our needs – not only in terms of technology, but also for its ability to support us throughout this transformation.” By combining the industrial productivity of the Tiger600-1800TS with the flexibility of the TS330-1600, Erreà can seamlessly switch between volume-driven and customised production while maintaining stable colour reproduction across sites. One TS330-1600 supports creative development at the company’s Italian headquarters, while the remaining systems operate in Romania, integrating mass customisation as a structured, repeatable process rather than an exception. The streamlined Mimaki platform simplifies maintenance, optimises production space and positions Erreà with a future-ready textile printing backbone in an increasingly competitive sportswear market.
