Heidelberg announced the first Jetfire digital printing systems will be installed at customer sites in Switzerland and Germany. Gremper AG, located in Switzerland, will use the Jetfire 50 to produce high-quality print, including personalized products. The first user in Germany will be Meinders & Elstermann GmbH & Co. KG and will support the company’s high-quality short runs and personalized mailings. Both companies tout the Prinect software advancements like Prinect Touch Free and support from Heidelberg as important criteria to their acquisitions. The Jetfire 50 B3 is the first release from the global cooperation agreement in sheetfed inkjet printing between Heidelberg and Canon that was announced at drupa 2024.
