Esko Print Clone, the cloud-native color matching solution launched earlier this year, has been awarded in the Printing Technology category of the 2025 Zero Impact Packaging Awards—formerly known as the prestigious Packaging Oscars. First previewed at drupa 2024 and launched at Esko World 2025, the software enables press operators to match colors from previously printed jobs with AI-powered accuracy, regardless of the original print process.
“Print Clone boosts digital printing productivity, eliminating lengthy test cycles and helping minimize waste,” explained Jan De Roeck, Esko's Marketing Director. By replacing trial-and-error methods with real-time, spectrophotometer-based color matching, the software reduces downtime and operational costs while maintaining consistency across substrates and print runs. Esko’s recognition at the Paris awards ceremony on December 8 underscores the impact of Print Clone’s innovation in reducing environmental footprint while improving performance for label and packaging converters.
