Industry Expert Chris Petro Appointed Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Muller Martini

Muller Martini has announced the appointment of Christopher M. Petro to the newly created role of Vice President of Strategic Alliances. The announcement was made by Andy Fetherman, President and CEO of Muller Martini Corp. in North America. Petro's role is expected to be pivotal in expanding Muller Martini’s reach and capabilities, particularly following the company’s recent integration with the Hunkeler Group. Together, the two finishing technology leaders aim to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for both digital and traditional print applications.

Petro brings over 35 years of experience in digital printing and strategic leadership to the role. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales, Strategic Accounts, at Canon USA, where he directed growth initiatives across key enterprise clients. His extensive industry knowledge and passion for innovation make him well-suited to foster new alliances that support Muller Martini’s evolving finishing solutions.

Reflecting on his new role, Petro said, “I began my career in the print industry right after college and have long been a champion of the ever-changing technologies that keep our industry moving forward. Muller Martini has always been known for customer-focused, end-to-end finishing solutions, and now, with the addition of Hunkeler, we are in an even stronger position to help customers navigate the next phase of growth.”

Petro  brings expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and cellular manufacturing. Based in North America, Muller Martini continues to provide robust service and support to commercial printers and binderies nationwide through its Smart Factory: Finishing 4.0 platform.
