ExO Wins L’Oreal Packaging Production Tender with New Global Alliance

ExO, the recently launched global production alliance created by agency network extreme Group and US-based prepress specialist Olberding Brand Family, has won a significant packaging production tender from L’Oreal for brands within its Consumer Products division across Europe. The win positions ExO as an emerging challenger in the prepress and packaging production sector, offering a model that blends human expertise with intelligent automation and scalable industrial workflows.

The alliance describes its approach as a combination of creativity, automation, and industrial performance, supported by a clear ambition to become a leading player in the prepress industry. ExO’s value proposition for L’Oreal centres on improving brand consistency, enhancing regulatory and packaging compliance, accelerating multi-market launches, and optimising costs through more agile and rationalised processes.

Extreme Group contributes its experience in communication consulting, operating across design, experience and reputation for clients in food and beverage, luxury and beauty, and broader societal transformation sectors. The organisation generates €50 million in annual revenue. Olberding Brand Family, headquartered in Cincinnati, brings deep prepress expertise and production capabilities to the joint venture.

ExO now operates in eight countries including the USA, Mexico, Brazil, France, the UK, Italy, China and Malaysia, supported by a workforce of 770 employees. The alliance’s rapid momentum and early client success indicate strong market appetite for a more flexible, technology-forward alternative to traditional global packaging production models.
