FastSigns Scotland Validates Fujifilm’s Acuity Triton

Glasgow-based FastSigns Scotland was selected in early 2025 as one of Fujifilm’s first global beta sites for the new Acuity Triton printer powered by AQUAFUZE ink technology. Acting as both an official demo site and development partner, the company has worked closely with Fujifilm to validate the hybrid solution in live production, testing the system across a broad range of materials and applications. The Acuity Triton combines the benefits of eco-solvent and UV technologies in a single platform, delivering instant drying, strong scratch resistance, and the flexibility required for demanding applications like vehicle graphics.

With more than 35 years in business and over 30,000 vehicle wraps completed, FastSigns Scotland needed a solution that could match its standards for precision, reliability, and environmental responsibility. Managing Director Robert Lambie commented, “The machine is very easy to run… The print quality is brilliant: vibrant, razor-sharp, even on text only a few millimetres high. And being able to laminate prints straight out of the machine is a massive bonus.” For a company already ISO 9001 accredited and working toward ISO 14001, the AQUAFUZE LED UV water-based ink technology aligns with its sustainability goals by reducing energy consumption while expanding media versatility. Fujifilm sees the partnership as proof that AQUAFUZE represents a significant step forward in wide-format production, blending performance, efficiency, and environmental progress in one platform.
