Fiery has introduced a major update to its Fiery ColorGuard software, delivering fully touchless, automated color control for digital print environments. The new release eliminates the need for manual color checks, recalibrations, and warmup jobs by leveraging inline spectrophotometers and AI-powered automation features. Designed to increase productivity and color consistency, Fiery ColorGuard now provides scheduled verification, automatic recalibration, and universal media verification, streamlining color management across multiple print devices with no operator intervention required.
According to Fiery, this innovation reduces the need for dedicated color management staff while improving output quality and production efficiency. Inline compatibility with systems from Canon and Konica Minolta highlights its versatility, with Canon’s imagePRESS and Konica Minolta’s IQ-601 and IQ-501 color measurement instruments fully supporting Fiery ColorGuard’s automation workflows. “With this release, print businesses can focus more on growth and less on manual color management,” said John Henze, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Fiery.
Fiery ColorGuard is available now through Fiery’s network of OEM partners and dealers, with new features automatically unlocked for existing users. The solution will be on display at PRINTING United Expo 2025, where visitors can experience hands-free color control in live demonstrations.
