Global Rotogravure Association Names Ben Daniel as Regional Ambassador for Middle East and Africa

The Global Rotogravure Association (GRA) appointed Ben Daniel as its new Ambassador for the Middle East and Africa, strengthening the organization’s presence in one of the world’s most dynamic growth regions for print and packaging. Based in Dubai, Daniel brings years of experience in the gravure and packaging industries, with a focus on market development, technology adoption, and customer engagement across both established and emerging markets. His appointment is part of GRA’s broader strategy to expand global industry collaboration and promote sustainable, high-quality gravure printing standards worldwide.

As GRA’s Middle East and Africa Ambassador, Daniel will focus on building industry networks, supporting member organizations, and advancing awareness of gravure’s capabilities in high-volume, precision printing applications. He will work closely with regional print associations, brand owners, and suppliers to showcase gravure’s role in delivering consistent quality, sustainability, and innovation in packaging production. “The Middle East and Africa represent a critical region for the growth of gravure printing,” said Daniel. “I look forward to helping GRA members leverage new opportunities and technologies to stay competitive.”

The appointment follows GRA’s rebranding and expansion efforts earlier this year as it shifted from its European roots to a truly global focus. The organization continues to invest in ambassador programs and regional partnerships that foster collaboration across key sectors such as flexible packaging, labels, and decorative printing.
