Grandprint Deepens HEIDELBERG Bet with Six More CX 92 Presses

Grandprint is continuing to build what increasingly looks like one of the most sophisticated hybrid print production environments in Asia. Following its major 2025 investment in eleven Jetfire 50 digital inkjet systems and ten Gallus Five hybrid digital inkjet label presses, the company has now added six Speedmaster CX 92-4 sheetfed offset presses equipped with AutoPlate Pro and automatic blanket wash-up. The new presses are aimed at self-adhesive labels, premium brochures, and broader commercial print applications, reinforcing a production model that blends the flexibility of digital with the volume economics of offset.

What stands out here is the strategic clarity behind the investment. Grandprint is not choosing between digital and conventional—it is deliberately building a hybrid, end-to-end production platform designed for scale, speed, and cost efficiency. Chairman Cui Wenfeng captures that direction well: “Technology from HEIDELBERG whether it is offset, digital or flexo, have continued to impress us with a high level of automation and performance.” With four factories, more than 3,000 employees, and 2025 turnover of €427 million, Grandprint is positioning itself at the center of Asia’s label growth story, where the region already accounts for 42 percent of the global pressure-sensitive label market. For HEIDELBERG, this is another strong signal that integrated offset, digital, and flexo ecosystems are becoming the blueprint for industrial-scale web-to-print growth.
