HEIDELBERG and Gallus will showcase a powerful lineup of new technologies at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona, highlighting their vision for a smart, connected future in label production. Set to take place from 16–19 September at Booths 3E23–3E29, the joint presentation will include two new machine debuts, addressing critical market demands for faster turnaround times, shorter runs, and scalable digital production. These innovations build on Gallus' System to Compose concept, providing modular flexibility and seamless integration across both digital and conventional platforms.
With digital label printing projected to surpass $20 billion over the next decade, HEIDELBERG and Gallus are positioning themselves at the forefront of this shift, offering complete, end-to-end solutions that combine speed, quality, and operational efficiency. Their new solutions will be complemented by live demonstrations of HEIDELBERG’s sheetfed offset systems for wet glue and in-mold labels, alongside software tools like Prinect and technologies such as Gallus Screeny and Gallus Services. The companies aim to empower converters with agile technologies that futureproof their operations and support more responsive production environments.
Gallus CEO Dario Urbinati emphasized the collaborative spirit of this year’s event, stating, “Success in this industry requires collaboration across the value chain. At Labelexpo, we’re showcasing how our modular platforms, digital innovations like MatteJet, and strategic partnerships are actively breaking down barriers to adoption and helping converters transform how they serve their customers.” HEIDELBERG and Gallus’ expanded presence underlines a shared commitment to driving the evolution of the label industry through innovation, openness, and real-world customer insight.
