HEIDELBERG has launched the Compact Pallet Loader (CPL) and Compact Bender to enable fully autonomous CtP production. Integrated with the Suprasetter 106/A106 platesetters and Prinect workflow, the new CtP line automates plate loading, imaging, and bending—cutting manual touchpoints and addressing labor shortages. With contact-free handling and a small footprint, the CPL can process up to 1,200 plates in continuous operation.
Pilot user Druckstudio GmbH is already reporting significant gains. “Thanks to automation, we can now make these processes much more efficient and boost our productivity big time,” said Managing Partner Werner Drechsler.
