HP Indigo and Shutterfly Expand Partnership with 35 Press Deal

HP Indigo has announced a major multi-year agreement with Shutterfly to install 35 HP Indigo 120K digital presses, representing a significant fleet-wide upgrade and expansion of their long-standing collaboration. Marking 25 years of partnership, the deal reflects the evolution from early digital print adoption to highly automated, data-driven production environments. The HP Indigo 120K platform, designed for nonstop industrial-scale production, delivers enhanced automation, predictive diagnostics, and intelligent quality control, enabling faster throughput, greater reliability, and consistent output in 24/7 production settings. As Oran Sokol, Head of Global Sales at HP Industrial Print, notes, this agreement represents “one of the most significant long-term, fleet-wide investments in digital production.”

Beyond hardware, the agreement includes software, services, and consumables, allowing Shutterfly to leverage HP’s broader ecosystem, including PrintOS and workflow automation tools to optimize end-to-end production performance. The collaboration highlights a broader industry shift toward connected, intelligent manufacturing environments, where automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making are critical. With a shared roadmap focused on AI-driven production and deeper workflow integration, the partnership positions both companies to lead the next phase of scalable, personalized print manufacturing.
