Indigo Ross, a full-service creative and print agency based in Suffolk, has significantly expanded its in-house capabilities with the installation of a Fujifilm Revoria EC2100S 5UPER COLOUR digital press. The investment marks a strategic shift, enabling the 14-person team to tackle more demanding print jobs with greater control and efficiency. With its fifth colour station, the EC2100S stands out by allowing vibrant spot colours—like Pantone 1505 orange—to be reproduced digitally, a feat previously only possible through litho outsourcing. This capability was recently put to the test on a 116-page job that had a tight turnaround, allowing the team to meet client expectations without compromise.
Phil Roper, Managing Director at Indigo Ross, underscores the value: “Ultimately, nobody wants to outsource work if they don’t have to—that’s the bottom line.” Fujifilm UK’s Spencer Green adds, “It’s a fantastic example of how this press’s five-colour capability is opening up new opportunities for printers to keep more work in-house and push creative boundaries.” With this move, Indigo Ross not only strengthens its production muscle but also sharpens its competitive edge, promising better margins and broader creative flexibility.
